Kolber is from Pennsylvania who graduated with a degree in graduate studies from the University of Miami. When she arrived in New York City, she was hired as a CBS Sports Video Coordinator. She was awarded a Sports Emmy in Miami during her stint working at WTVJ-TV. Other jobs she held included WPLG-TV Miami and WPEC-TV West Palm Beach. When ESPN2 was first introduced in that year, she joined as the first anchor. The station was ESPN2 from 1993 to 1999 prior to moving on to Fox Sports. She then returned to ESPN, where she currently hosts "Monday Night Countdown.'
